Wide Gap Pressure Plate - WGPP Exchangers
The WGPP can be used in many applications that are too dirty for a shell and tube, but not requiring a spiral heat exchanger. The unit has larger surface area and can handle higher flows than any one spiral unit. The exchangers are formed from an array of pressure plates inserted into a box structure. The wide gap, (up to 1.25") allows solids carrying fluids, and are completely accessable for mechanical cleaning and inspection.
